I was gonna title this “Polling for the next Sunday School class,” but God willing, next time we have Sunday School, I won’t be the only one offering a class. I’m nudging a few other potential teachers in that direction. (So’s the Holy Spirit—and maybe he’s even nudging you.)
My first thought was to teach on Ecclesiastes. Others have suggested other books; or topical and theological subjects. Naturally I don’t want to pick a subject no one’s interested in. (I did that once: It was a class on evangelism. Yes that’s sad.) So I’m taking a poll: What would you like to see a Sunday School class about? Send me an email with your nominations.
Your nominations can be whatever you want. Any subject. Doesn’t even have to be just one idea; if you have five, share them. If it has to do with Christianity and you’re curious about it, the sky’s the limit. I might think, “Oh, that needs to be taught,” and do it—either in the next class, or a later one. Or I might find someone who really wants to teach on that subject, and they’ll teach a class on it. I’ll share these nominations with Pastor Curt—and hey, if he thinks these subjects are important enough to merit a sermon or two, maybe that’ll happen. You never know, so it doesn’t hurt to ask.
The nominations begin right now! Go for it.
